Jakarta, Kalteng Network - War used to feel like something far away. Something in history books. Something older generations talked about. Something that happened
“somewhere else.”
But now? It’s right here, on our screens.
The conflict between Iran and the United States isn’t just another headline. It’s one of the biggest global tensions in years, and we’re watching it unfold in real time. Airstrikes, missile attacks, cities under pressure, economies shaking. It all happens faster than we can process.
And that’s the strange part. We can go from watching destruction… to distraction… in seconds.
And if we’re not careful, we slowly become numb. But this is not the time to lose awareness.
And it’s not the time to lose direction. Because our generation isn’t here by accident. We are living in a time where everything is visible, everything is connected, and everything matters. And in moments like this, we’re not called to be passive, we’re called to be grounded.
Grounded in God.
Grounded in Truth.
Grounded in purpose.
Scripture reminds us:
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.”
Matthew 5:9
And also:
“He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings.”
Daniel 2:21
“The Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom He will.”
Daniel 4:17
This means something important: God is not absent in global events. He is sovereign even over nations.
So what does that mean for us?
It means we don’t respond with fear.
We don’t respond with chaos.
And we don’t lose control.
Instead, we rise with clarity.
Not to dominate, but to lead with peace.
Not to spread noise, but to carry the Truth.
Not to follow every narrative, but to stand firm in God.
Our generation has influence.
And influence, when rooted in God, becomes impact. This is not about taking control of the world. This is about being the God kind of people who reflect a higher Kingdom in the middle of it.
Because real change doesn’t start in governments.
So no. we’re not here to drift.
We’re here to stand.
But responds to it with faith, wisdom, and purpose.
Because even in a world at war, God is still on the throne.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
