Building a Generation with Purpose: The Meaning Behind “The New Reality 3.0”

For me, The New Reality 3.0 is not simply another youth event. It is the continuation of a vision that began in 2024. This year marks the third edition of the gathering, which is why we call it “The New Reality 3.0.” What started as a simple initiative to bring young people together has now grown into a movement that continues to inspire students and young adults across Palangka Raya.

My name is Tefilla Miryam Indraputri. Beyond serving in Blast Youth, I have dedicated much of my work to creating platforms where young people can discover their purpose, share their stories, and realize the potential that God has placed within them.

Growing up in Palangka Raya, I have witnessed how many young people wrestle with questions about identity, purpose, and the future. In a world filled with uncertainty, social pressure, and countless distractions, many are searching for something greater, something eternal. That is precisely why The New Reality was born: to create a space where faith, leadership, creativity, and purpose come together.

On Saturday, 25 July 2026, at 4:00 PM (WIB), we will gather once again at the Grand Global Hotel, Jalan Tjilik Riwut Km. 1 No. 12, Palangka Raya, carrying a message that goes far beyond motivation or positive words. The essence of The New Reality is found in the salvation that we have received through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The “new reality” is not merely a new perspective on life. It is a new life. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Because of the finished work of The Lord Jesus Christ, we are no longer defined by our past mistakes, our fears, or the circumstances around us. Through salvation, we have become new creations. This is the foundation of The New Reality.

A life as a new creation is ultimately about Christ in you, which is the divine life of God dwelling within every believer. As Colossians 1:27 declares:

“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

This truth changes everything. It means that our identity is no longer determined by our background, our achievements, or even the challenges we face. Instead, our identity is rooted in Almighty God Himself. Yes. The God who created Adam, you and I. The God who made the perfect crucifixion for you and I.

As young people, we often encounter difficult realities: academic pressure, uncertainty about the future, family struggles, and personal setbacks. Yet, the message of The New Reality 3.0 is that we can live impactful and victorious lives regardless of what the facts of life may seem to show. Our victory is not based on circumstances but on who we are in God. We are the light of the world. The city on hills that cannot be hidden. We are innovating, illuminating and giving the tangible solutions to this world through the Power of the Holy Spirit that living and activated within us.

The reality of Christ in us empowers us to dream boldly, to lead courageously, and to influence our generation with purpose and faith. It reminds us that we are called to rise above limitations and to walk in the victory that God has already secured for us.

This year, students and young people from different schools and universities including SMA 3 Palangka Raya, STIMIK, University of Palangka Raya, University of Muhammadiyah, and other schools and communities will gather as one generation with one purpose: to discover the extraordinary life that God has prepared for them.

Whether you are a high school student, a university student, or a young professional, you are invited to be part of this journey. Come and experience an atmosphere of Divine, friendship, inspiration, and the life-changing message.

My prayer is that every person who joins us will leave with more than memories. I declare they leave with a renewed understanding of who they are in Christ a generation that lives with real faith, real purpose, and real life.

Because The New Reality is not simply an event.

It is the revelation that, in Christ Jesus, we have received a new life, a new identity, and an unshakable victory.
